Robert J. Hoffman, Esquire
Robert J. Hoffman is a graduate of Drexel University and the Widener University School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in 1993. He then served as law clerk to the Honorable Anthony R. Semeraro, Court of Common Pleas, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Mr. Hoffman was an associate in the Philadelphia office of Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin where he litigated Medical Malpractice, Accounting Malpractice and Premises Liability matters. He became a founding partner and shareholder in Marcus & Hoffman, P.C. in 1999. Mr. Hoffman has been actively representing community associations since the firm's formation over 11 years ago. As a lecturer at various continuing legal education seminars, Rob has provided information regarding the legal aspects of community association law to attorneys and managers throughout Pennsylvania on a variety of topics from governance to collections. In addition to providing day to day legal advice on a myriad of association issues, Mr. Hoffman currently leads the firm's litigation and collection practice areas. Mr. Hoffman is admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Adam Marcus, Esquire
Mr. Marcus' practice focuses in the areas of community association representation with emphasis on transition from Declarant control to the Association. In addition, Mr. Marcus has extensive experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, zoning, land use development and subdivision. Mr. Marcus currently represents community associations throughout southeastern Pennsylvania in areas related to transition, collections, document interpretation, drafting of amendments and proposed rules, regulations and resolutions. Mr. Marcus has been a speaker and presenter at numerous seminars on various topics relating to condominium and homeowner association law as well as real estate related transactions. Mr. Marcus' real estate transactional experience includes the representation of individual, corporate and institutional clients in all aspects of commercial transactions and zoning from property acquisition through development. Prior to joining Marcus & Hoffman, P.C., Ms. Carr was an associate with a firm in Montgomery County for nine years, where she practiced in the areas of community association law, real estate and commercial transactions. Ms. Carr joined Marcus & Hoffman, P.C. in February 2008 and continues to concentrate her practice in all aspects of community association representation and commercial and residential real estate transactions. Ms. Krull is admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Keely A. Carr graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1996 and received her Juris Doctorate degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1999.
Deborah A. Krull was born and raised in Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairfield University and her Juris Doctorate degree from Widener University School of Law in 1993. Prior to joining Marcus & Hoffman, P.C., Ms. Krull concentrated her practice in the areas of litigation, employment law and labor relations, representing both employees and employers. Ms. Krull was also Staff Counsel for a Philadelphia union, where she represented individuals in a wide range of employment related disputes.
Amy J. Liesenfeld graduated from Cornell University in 2002 with a degree in Applied Economics and Management and received her Juris Doctorate Degree from William & Mary School of Law in 2007. At William & Mary, Ms. Liesenfeld served as a Notes Editor for the William & Mary Journal of Women and the Law and as a teaching assistant for the Trial Advocacy course.
