| Lauren A. Alessi, Esquire
Lauren Alessi is a graduate of Cabrini College and Widener University School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2015. During law school, she served as Vice President on the honor’s society focusing on trial advocacy. As a part of her involvement, Lauren competed in several trial competitions nationwide. Lauren was a Dean’s List student and completed Widener’s Trial Advocacy Certificate Program. This program provided a specialized course of study which focused on all aspects of trial advocacy. During her final year of law school, Lauren was awarded the James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy from the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. To this day, Lauren continues to be involved with Widener’s Trial Advocacy Program. She serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program for rising third-year law students, as well as a coach for one of the competitive trial teams.
After graduation from law school, Lauren served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania where she gained a wealth of trial experience, including both bench and jury trials. During her time in the District Attorney’s Office, Lauren served in the Pre-Trial, Juvenile, Economic Crimes, and Firearms Units. Before joining Marcus & Hoffman in 2021, Lauren also worked as an Associate for State Farm in the Philadelphia Claims Litigation Counsel Office where she participated in litigation involving personal injury.
