As a volunteer Board member, you will likely be expected to understand the various documents governing your association and how they relate to each other. You will need to understand the role of the Board of Directors and the powers, duties, and limitations of the board’s authority. You will need to understand your fiduciary duty to the association and the association’s obligation to defend and indemnify you for your actions as a board member.

We will conduct a board orientation meeting at your location and at no charge or expense. The orientation will provide board members with the information that they need to better understand their role in governing their association.
